WHAT’S SHAKING?: ATHLETIC TRAINING RECEIVES HIGHEST HONORS …AGAIN!
For the second straight year, the Athletic Training Degree Program enjoyed a 100% “first-time pass rate” on the Board of Examiners Licensing Exam. The academic strength of the 2015 class is highlighted by the recognition of Jordan Marks (Marks) as the student graduating with highest honors in the College of Education. Jordan graduated with a stellar 4.0 GPA and will be attending Graduate School at Auburn in the Fall where she will be a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Training Department.
The Department of Kinesiology and Dance seeks to advance the science, practice, and art of human movement. Faculty and students collaborate to explore human movement from biological, behavioral, social, pedagogical, and artistic perspectives. Of critical importance are the dissemination of new knowledge and creative works, and the preparation of future scientists, practitioners, educators, and performers.
The Department offers Bachelor’s degrees in Dance, Physical Education, Kinesiology, and Athletic Training.The Department also offers a brand new Doctorate of Philosophy in Kinesiology.
